Pitt License Plates

PennDOT is continuing to produce Pitt license plates for our new customers.  Please be advised though, that PennDOT has been producing specialty plates in limited quantities since resuming production after a temporary shutdown last year due to COIVD-19.  As a result, PennDOT is no longer able to offer a timetable of when a new order will be fulfilled.  Once PennDOT is operating at full capacity again, we expect to be able to offer a specific time frame on new orders.  Until then, the wait time is longer than usual, but rest assured that all new applications for a Pitt license plate will be processed.

Pennsylvania residents: Show your Pride wherever you drive! University of Pittsburgh alumni, faculty, staff, and friends can purchase a University of Pittsburgh specialty license plate.
