Student Alumni Association
Pitt's Student Alumni Association (SAA) is one of the most popular and active student groups on campus. Members enjoy exclusive opportunities, interact with alumni, meet campus leaders, and share their Pitt pride by helping to promote Pitt traditions across campus. To join the SAA, click here.
Benefits of joining the Student Alumni Association
Networking and Leadership
Because of their close association with the Pitt Alumni Association, SAA members enjoy some of the best opportunities to interact with both Pitt alumni and top campus administrators. SAA members also are encouraged to serve in leadership roles as members of the Blue and Gold Society, the University's student ambassadors.
Friends and Fun
With more than 1,500 student members, the SAA is a great way to make friends and get involved with fun events, including the SAA picnics, annual homecoming festivities, and the Cathedral Ball—a December formal exclusively for SAA members and their guests.
Gifts and Greetings
The Pitt Alumni Association welcomes its new student members to campus each year with a Panther Pak gift, which includes an SAA T-shirt, a Pitt traditions glass, key card and lanyard for event access, and exclusive discounts at Oakland shops and restaurants. Pick up your Panther Pak at our offices at 140 Alumni Hall. SAA members also receive limited edition Beat Cups for each Pitt Football home game.
Senior Spotlight Submissions
The SAA is proud of its graduating seniors! We would like to hear about your experience at Pitt and any future plans you may have, with chosen submissions being featured on the SAA social media accounts.
Before Wednesday, March 29
Renew your Student Alumni Association (SAA) membership before March 29, and be entered to win a private lunch, tour the UPMC Sports Complex, a private viewing of a Pitt Panther football practice, and an exclusive meet and greet with head coach Pat Narduzzi.
Backpacks to Briefcases
A panel of Pitt Alumni will talk about variety of topics to prepare you for after graduation, such as how to negotiate salaries, how to balance work and social life, how to apply for graduate school, and other topics.
We want to thank you for being an SAA member, so come enjoy variety of activities and free stuff before finals week!
