What is PMADD?
Pitt Make A Difference Day (PMADD) is the University’s largest day of service, when thousands of students, alumni, staff, and faculty show their Pitt spirit by serving in their communities across the world. Watch the video here.
The 11th annual Pitt Make A Difference Day will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, and this year, the Pitt Alumni Association will be teaming up with PittServes, the University’s community service engagement office, to facilitate a variety of civic engagement projects worldwide to demonstrate how the Pitt community can make a difference wherever they are!

The Salvation Army Warehouse

The Villages Pitt Club members will be working at the Salvation Army's Leesburg warehouse repairing and painting Salvation Army's red kettles, signs and tripods and helping to organize their warehouse.

The New Mexico Pitt Club will be volunteering at the Pit Stop at SageBrush Church, which provides free vehicle maintenance and light repairs to single and the elderly. There are numerous volunteer opportunities at this event.

Operation Homefront is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. All attendees will need to present a photo ID at the gate.

On Saturday, the farm will be dismantled for winter and final harvest. Volunteers are needed to remove plants, pull up vegetable fabric and tomato fences, etc.
