Alumni Receptions with Provost Dr. Ann Cudd

Please join the Pitt Alumni Association at a reception to meet and welcome Dr. Ann Cudd, University of Pittsburgh Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor.

Ann E. Cudd became Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor at the University of Pittsburgh on September 1, 2018. As Provost, Dr. Cudd has primary responsibility for the University’s academic mission as well as the more than 4,600 full-time faculty members and nearly 35,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on all five Pitt campuses. She is also a faculty member in the top-ranked Department of Philosophy and a fellow of the Center for Philosophy of Science. Dr. Cudd earned three graduate degrees at Pitt, including master’s degrees in Philosophy (1984) and Economics (1986) and a doctorate in Philosophy (1988). Prior to returning to Pitt in 2018, Dr. Cudd served as Boston University’s Dean of the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

In the coming weeks, Dr. Cudd will gather with alumni in various cities to share her vision for the office, her experience as a Pitt alumna, and an update on how your alma mater is growing and changing.

The Pitt Alumni Association proudly presents Pitt Networking Day in DC with Provost Ann E. Cudd at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco. Dr. Cudd will gather with alumni to share her vision for the office, her experience as a Pitt alumna, and an update on how your alma mater is growing and changing.

The reception is free to attend and will include hors d'oeuvres and drinks.
