Pitt Day in Harrisburg

Thank you to the Pitt alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends who were able to join us for an opportunity to influence state lawmakers and tell your University of Pittsburgh story at Pitt Day in Harrisburg on May 23, 2018.

Pitt Day in Harrisburg is the annual advocacy day at the state Capitol. Pennsylvania continues to face budget challenges and it is critical that our elected officials hear from you the importance of public higher education and the impact Pitt makes.

Transportation from each Pitt campus and meals are provided. Attendees have opportunities to meet with legislators in small groups, tour the Capitol, visit exhibits, participate in a career panel with Pitt alumni in government, and attend a dessert reception.
