The Pitt Alumni Association staff is a talented group of individuals working together to support the university and at the same time provide opportunities for alumni and Pitt students to stay connected to each other and the University of Pittsburgh.
- Jeff Gleim Associate Vice Chancellor | Executive Director of Alumni Relations
Jeff is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Alumni Relations and Executive Director for the Pitt Alumni Association. He is responsible for strategic planning, overall program management, budget, working with the Alumni Association Board of Directors and various segments of the University community. Jeff serves as an ex-officio member of the Alumni Association Executive Committee. Jeff serves as a member of the Institutional Advancement Senior Staff and the Chancellor Extended Senior Staff.
- Diane Martin Executive Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor, Alumni Board Coordinator
Diane provides administrative support and infrastructure to the Association Vice Chancellor for Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the Pitt Alumni Association. Diane coordinates the activities/functions associated with the Pitt Alumni Association Board of Directors. Diane monitors updates to the Association's long term Strategic Plan and tracks progress by preparing statistical reports and pivot charts. Diane serves as the staff liaison to the Association's Executive and Governance Committees.
- Jana Sestili Assistant Executive Director
Jana has oversight for the External Relations team. She oversees the association's marketing program, including affinity and educational programs, sponsorship relations and opportunities. She develops and directs the association's comprehensive programming efforts including alumni outreach initiatives through club, chapter, constituent group initiatives, councils, awards, and the student ambassador program - the Blue & Gold Society. Jana has oversight and management for large University-based alumni events and programs including athletic game day, post-season bowl and NCAA event collaboration. Jana serves as a liaison to the Association's Executive, Finance, and Governance Committees. Jana is the point person to Athletics.
- Ron Idoko Director of Pitt Clubs & Councils
Ron serves as the primary liaison for the Pitt Alumni Association to its geographic clubs and special interest groups/councils. He works directly with alumni volunteers and communicates with them on a regular basis through training programs, meetings, conferences, and attending events through which the clubs and special interest groups/councils sponsor. Ron identifies alumni for the establishment of new geographic alumni clubs and supports the overall alumni association events and programming as assigned.
- Laraine Hlatky Associate Director of External Relations
Laraine is responsible for event preparation and management for large Alumni Association and University impact events. Laraine works with alumni constituent groups and serves as the alumni database specialist. She manages the alumni scholarship program and works with volunteers and the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid to award scholarships. Laraine is the staff liaison with the Scholarship & Student Recruitment Committee of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
- Sue George External Relations Coordinator
Sue George reports to the Associate Director of External Relations/Alumni Programs and is responsible for assisting in the planning and coordination of Alumni Relations programs and events including university-impact events, meetings, lectures, and receptions. Sue provides administrative support to the Assistant Executive Director.
- Austin Crull Director of Young Alumni & Student Programs
Austin directs student and young alumni programming. He manages all student programs including a comprehensive student acquisition/retention program/strategy for the Student Alumni Association (SAA). In addition, Austin also develops a comprehensive strategy for all young alumni programming and manages alumni volunteers in event programming and identifies and cultivates volunteers for leadership development.
- Amy McCloskey Director of Schools/Colleges/Regional Campuses
Amy serves as the primary contact to the Oakland campuses 16 schools & colleges and 4 regional campuses. She is responsible for finding ways to work collaboratively with these schools to coordinate and communicate programs, information and events as appropriate. Amy coordinates homecoming information and events and facilitates the alumni awards programs.Email: email@example.com
- Marcie Johnson Manager of Alumni and Student Programs
Marcie works directly with the Director of Young Alumni and Student Programs and helps to develop strategies for the Student Alumni Association (SAA) and Blue and Gold Society. She is responsible for the management and execution of all event planning, logistics for the SAA and assists with the Blue and Gold society functions and initiatives. She will also assist with Young Alumni cultivation and event planning.
- Shannon Mischler Director of Regional Clubs & Advocacy
Shannon serves as the primary liaison for the Pitt Alumni Association to its regional clubs, affinity councils, and Pitt Advocates. She works directly with alumni volunteers and communicates with them on a regular basis through various training programs, meetings, conferences, and signature events, such as Pitt Day in Harrisburg and Pitt Networking Day. Shannon works closely with the Pitt Office of Community and Government Relations to connect Pitt Advocates with elected officials and others in support of the University of Pittsburgh.
- Kathy Ablauf Assistant Executive Director
Kathy works with the Associate Vice Chancellor on program oversight in addressing major University and association priorities. Kathy serves as an advisor with the Pitt Alumni Association Board of Directors and is the budget and personnel administrator. Kathy directs alumni office administration. Kathy serves as staff liaison to the Association's Executive, Finance, and Governance committees.

- E.J. Milarski Office and Budget Coordinator
EJ coordinates alumni office operations, works with staff on financial issues, verifies level reports, tracks expenses for operating accounts, and prepares financial forms and reports. EJ works with Procurement on contracts. EJ assists with preparation of department's fiscal budget and supervises and coordinates department's work study students.
- Jon Malek Director of Alumni Marketing and Business Development
Jon is responsible for the overall management of the membership dues program including alumni acquisition and retention. Jon researches and manages affinity/revenue generating programs for the Association. Jon is liaison to the Board for the Membership Committee.
- Brittany Turley Alumni Coordinator-Finance
Brittany assists with financial reporting for the Alumni Association. She verifies level reports, tracks expenses for operating accounts, and prepares financial forms and reports. Brittany purchases supplies for department, prepares disbursements, travel and business reports, facility work orders, and grant awards for events.
