Every year, the Blue & Gold Society organizes the annual tradition of crowning Homecoming King and Queen. Please see the schedule below to find out how to be a part of this exciting Pitt tradition.

Homecoming King & Queen

Aarti Kumar and Ryan Scandaglia, pictured above, were crowned Homecoming King and Queen in 2016.

Organized annually by the Blue & Gold Society, the crowning of the Homecoming Kind and Queen is a long-standing tradition at Pitt.

If you'd like to be considered as a candidate for the Homecoming Court, you'll find all the information you need right here.

Interested individuals must submit an application by Monday, October 2, and participate in a series of meetings and events over the next several weeks. (See the "2017 Important Dates" section, below.)

Campaigning begins Thursday, October 5, when cadidates and the student organizations who sponsor them will have one week to rally for votes—showing their Pitt pride and sharing their Homecoming excitement with the Pitt community.

The student body will have from noon Thursday, October 12 until noon on Friday to vote online for their choice for Homecoming King and Queen. The King and Queen will be announced during halftime at the Pitt vs. NC State Homecoming game, Saturday, October 14.

If you'd like to run for this year's Homecoming court, we look forward to hearing from you.
