The Pitt Alumni Recruitment Team is a dynamic PARTnership between Pitt Alumni and University staff from the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid and Alumni Relations office. PART Members--numbering close to 950-typically volunteer to assist with University recruitment efforts in their hometown area. By so doing, they help increase University of Pittsburgh visibility across the nation, extend undergraduate recruitment efforts far beyond their usual scope, and relive their own undergraduate experiences while meeting other Pitt alumni.
As a PART Member you can contribute in the following types of activities

Inform the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA) of college fairs and recruitment events in your area.

Represent the University at area college fairs.

Assist admissions staff at area hotel programs and college fairs.

Coordinate and/or participate in local alumni events for prospective students.

Participate in OAFA on-campus recruitment programs.

Identify and refer prospective students through the PART Referral Network.

Communicate with prospective students and families in your area, share your Pitt experiences and pass along requests for information.
PART Member Support Services

Offer training on admissions and the college selection process.

Provide up-to-date University information in the PART Reference Manual.

Coordinate PART Member participation in local recruitment events, to include: contacting you about events, requesting assistance, providing details about the program, sending appropriate support materials, and follow-up.

Link PART Members with each other through the PART Member Directory.

Provide an opportunity for you to contribute to your alma mater in an enjoyable and productive way.

Recognize PART Member volunteer efforts through the Excellence in Volunteering Gift Program.
