What do you miss most about Pittsburgh since moving to Cincinnati?

I miss the vibrant, thriving and eclectic neighborhoods. No other city in America has such unique places and spaces, which are accented with the beautiful hills and valleys. I miss the rivers, bridges, the mix of old and new architecture, the arts scene, the sports culture, old churches, parks, and of course the University of Pittsburgh campus. Most of all, I miss the people -- friendly yet forthright, approachable and always proud of their city.
What is your fondest memory of your days at Pitt?
I have to list two memories. My first day on campus as a new student – I was so proud to be a Pitt Panther. I was green and growing; open to the world and to finding myself in the experiences yet to come. And secondly, sharing graduation with my family; reveling in the largest accomplishment of my life at that point, and feeling prepared to step firmly into the world.
What made you become a member of the Pitt Alumni Association?
There were two compelling reasons for me: to give something back to the great institution that gave me my start, and to stay connected and involved with the world-class institution that I'm proud to call my alma mater.
What led you into a career in real estate?
I've always had a tremendous appreciation for architecture and the built environment. I was fortunate to find a way to combine my passion for buildings with my background in business and finance into a wonderful career in real estate.
