Dear Alumni,

I want to thank you for your continued support of the Dental Hygiene Program. I want to extend special “thanks” to the individuals who attended the student Table Clinic presentations on July 29.  This event provided me with the opportunity to catch-up with old friends and share the exciting educational initiatives of the Program.  As evidenced by the schedule of events that appear in this newsletter, we have planned another extremely active year.  I hope to see many of you during Homecoming Weekend, October 9.

Also, don’t forget to mark your calendars for the American Dental Hygienists’ Association CLL 2016 Annual Session, June 8-14, 2016.  We, the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association and Western Pennsylvania component, are honored to host this event in our beautiful city.  As chair of the 2016 Annual Session Planning Committee, I strongly encourage your participation in this event.  The ADHA members will witness Pittsburgh’s beauty, friendliness, and character of its residents.  We are planning an alumni reception and hope that many of you will be able to attend.  Enjoy the rest of the summer, and I look forward to seeing you during the White Coat Ceremony or at one of the many scheduled events.
