Ways to Give

There are several ways that you can help to support the Pitt Alumni Association's efforts by giving in one of the following ways:

Ways to Give

Circle of Excellence

The Circle of Excellence are those Pitt Alumni Association members who have completed paying their life membership dues. Those who have been annual members for at least three years are encouraged to give to the Circle of Excellence. This fund makes association student and alumni programs possible.

Lantern Night

Help keep the lights of the University’s oldest tradition lit. In 1920, Dean of Women, Thyrsa Wealtheow Amos, began Lantern Night, an annual ceremony during which alumnae pass on the light of learning to freshmen women. This oldest of Pitt traditions has inspired countless students.

Scholarship Funds

The Pitt Alumni Association has several different scholarships that are awarded to deserving students. The scholarships are funded in part  by the generosity of our alumni. You can easily make a gift online by going to the secure Pitt Giving site. You can also select where your donation should be directed. If you prefer to mail in a donation, please make checks payable to The University of Pittsburgh and indicate where your gift should be placed on the memo line of your check.

Please send your check to:
